Thanks for making our first Mexican auction a big success...

We want to thank everyone who was involved in making our very first auction in Mexico a huge success. On Friday 11th March we held an auction of Oaxacan art in the Pacific coastal city of Mazatlan. We started modestly, offering a selection of 23 lots painted by young Oaxacan artists with an already established reputation. We sold 22 of the 23, with a gross hammer price of 691,000 Mexican pesos. Thanks everybody!

We particularly wish to thank our charity partners in Mazatlan, the Mazatlan Orphanage. Also many thanks to Javier Lopez Morton from Mexico's most prestigious auction house "Morton", who donated his services.
