Paola was born in 1978 and is from Oaxaca. She studied at the School of Fine Art of the Autonomous University B. Juarez in Oaxaca and at the Casa de la Cultura.
She has exhibited extensively.
She has worked as an archaeological restorer at the Santo Domingo de Guzmán site in Oaxaca and, when not painting, gives workshops in painting and etching.
